How to Play WARDOGS
WARDOGS drops you into a 100-player, three-team fight over a randomized 2x2 km Control Zone. This guide explains the complete core loop: buy a loadout, hold the zone, get paid for teamplay, and out-earn the enemy to 100 points.
The core loop
Every deployment starts from your war chest. Each life you purchase a custom loadout - weapons, gear, utility and even vehicles - then deploy toward the active Control Zone. The zone location randomizes within the larger map, so no two matches play out the same.
Inside the zone, the team with the most players present earns one point every 30 seconds. First team to 100 points wins. Dying means re-purchasing your kit, so cheap effective loadouts beat one expensive life.
The $10,000 economy
You start your journey with $10,000 and every teamplay action pays: reviving squadmates, transporting friendlies into the zone, and holding the objective all reward cash.
Cash persists from match to match. Spending big on better gear or a vehicle at the right moment can turn a battle - but a broke player with a rifle inside the zone still out-scores a rich player sniping from the hills.
Vehicles and combined arms
WARDOGS is a combined-arms sandbox: helicopters ferry supplies and teammates, artillery tanks rain destruction on fortified positions, and armoured vehicles tear through towns.
Learning one vehicle deeply - especially helicopter transport - makes you immediately valuable to any team. Practice flight assist settings before you volunteer as a pilot.
Building and destruction
The world is fully destructible - apartment blocks come down under rocket fire and tanks punch new roads through buildings. Conversely, you can fortify chokepoints by building your own forward operating base.
Use destruction to create sightlines into the zone and construction to deny the enemy's. Both mechanics reward planning over raw aim.
What the gunplay feels like
Players who have tested the game describe the gunplay as a mix of PUBG and Battlefield, leaning closer to PUBG: deliberate, positioning-driven gunfights rather than arcade movement.
There is no sliding or COD-style movement tech, so winning fights is about angles, cover and pre-aiming - worth knowing before you buy.
