WARDOGS Beginner Guide

Your first hours in WARDOGS set the tone for your whole economy. This guide walks through what actually matters in early matches: presence over kills, cheap kits, bandages and revives.

You do not need to top the kill feed. You need to be the player still standing in the zone when the tick happens.

Your first deployment

Buy a modest kit - rifle, ammo, a bandage or two - and move with your team toward the Control Zone. The match score ticks every 30 seconds for the team with the most players inside, so arriving early and staying alive matters more than any individual firefight.

Movement is deliberate rather than arcade-fast: there is no sliding or COD-style vaulting, so positioning and cover discipline carry more weight than reflexes.

Health, healing and revives

Health does not regenerate over time. Carry bandages, or get a teammate to heal you - a deep pool of blood means nothing if you cannot patch it.

When teammates go down, anyone can revive them even without a res kit, and downed players can be dragged out of fire first. Learning the drag-revive rhythm is the single cheapest way to keep your squad's kits alive.

The Hot Zone

Inside the Control Zone sits a moving sub-zone called the Hot Zone. Standing in it pays double cash and counts you as double toward your team's zone presence.

Rotating your pushes through the Hot Zone is the fastest legal way to build your war chest - but it is also where everyone else wants to be, so expect contention.

Banking your first $10,000

Cash persists between matches. The six XP progression tracks unlock additional loadout items at the in-match vendor, so even a losing match grows your account.

Resist the urge to buy an expensive kit every life. Grinders who bank early can afford vehicles and heavy gear exactly when a match hangs in the balance.
